Workmanship guarantee
A workmanship defect in our own labor gets fixed free for two years after sign-off.
This covers the work Ronevexa performs directly — kitchen and bathroom remodels, flooring, drywall and paint, trim carpentry, framing and decks, and punch-list repairs. It does not cover the trades we bring in and name on the estimate, and it does not replace the manufacturer warranty that ships with a fixture, appliance or flooring product.
What's covered, and for how long
Two years on our own labor, itemized by trade
Covered
- Drywall patches that crack or telegraph a seam within two years of sign-off.
- Tile or trim installed by our crew that comes loose, gaps, or fails to sit flush — not the tile itself, the install.
- Flooring installed by us that buckles, gaps at the seams, or wears through at a fastener line inside the guarantee window.
- Deck and fence framing built by us that racks, sags, or loosens at a connection point we set.
- Paint that peels or blisters off a surface we prepped and coated, inside the two-year window.
Not covered
- Work performed by the licensed electrician or plumber we bring in for panel changes, new circuits or gas lines. Their warranty is theirs, named on the estimate at the time.
- Manufacturer defects in cabinets, fixtures, appliances or flooring products themselves — that claim goes to the manufacturer, and we'll help you file it.
- Movement or cracking traced to foundation settling, plumbing leaks we didn't cause, or water damage from a source outside our scope.
- Damage from normal wear, another contractor's later work, or a repair or alteration made by someone other than our crew after sign-off.
- Anything on a punch-list call that was itemized as "as-is" or "patch only" on the written scope, where full replacement wasn't part of the job.
What voids it
The short list of things that end the guarantee early
The guarantee follows the written scope, not a general promise to stand behind "the house." If a wall we framed gets cut into by another contractor, if a floor we installed gets flooded by a plumbing failure that isn't ours, or if a punch-list patch gets painted over by someone else before we've signed off on it, the guarantee on that specific item ends. So does coverage on any part of the job that was explicitly marked out of scope on the original written scope and materials list — that's the point of writing it down.
Unpaid balances also void the guarantee on that job until the account is settled. This isn't a scare clause; in eleven years it has come up rarely, because the written scope means both sides agreed on the number before the work started.
How a claim actually runs
Call the shop, we look at it, we fix what's ours to fix
Call the shop line or email [email protected] with the address, the job it relates to, and what's gone wrong. We schedule an inspection — usually the same crew that did the original work, since they know exactly what's under the surface. That visit is free if the guarantee applies.
If it's our defect, we fix it and reset nothing about your two-year window on the rest of the job — the clock keeps running from the original sign-off date, not the repair date. If the inspection finds the cause sits outside our scope — a plumbing leak, a foundation issue, someone else's later work — we'll say so plainly and point you to who can actually fix it, even if that's not us.
Reporting an issue
Email [email protected] or call +1 (219) 555-7569 with the job address and a description of what changed. Include photos if you have them; they usually settle whether an inspection visit is even necessary before we drive out. There's no guarantee claim form to fill out beyond that — this is a phone call and a look, not paperwork.
Every job that carries this guarantee starts with a written scope so both sides know exactly what it covers. If you're planning a job now, start there.
